Avocado Toast

There is nothing as awesome as a slice of Avocado Toast in the morning. I know it seems a little basic to share, but I swear, the way I make it is so good that it must be enjoyed this way at least once! Since this recipe contains very few ingredients it is key that these ingredients are of the highest quality.

I always use the freshest bread I can find because that’s what will toast up nicely. Then, there’s the matter of getting the avocado as fresh and ripe as possible. I know this part isn’t easy – it's a bit of an art, really. Buy your avocados a few days before you need them so you can control getting them to where they need to be. Then, be sure to have very high-quality honey. In Greece we take our honey very seriously, it makes a difference when it comes directly from the source. Splurge a little on the good organic honey, you won’t be sorry.

Once you have everything on hand go ahead and make your avocado toast. I typically pair it with a piping hot cup of coffee in the morning. I also like it for a quick snack in the afternoon. My kids eat it as well, I like knowing they are getting some high-quality protein whenever they eat it.

Everyone has different methods for making avocado toast and I hope you like mine. Please leave any comments or suggestions below for the way you make yours. Is there anything you enjoy on your toast? Do you have a special way of making it? I’d love to know!

Avocado Toast Avocado toast is one of my favorite meals for lunch or dinner. I never make it the same way twice! Today I’m sharing my favorite way to make avocado toast and ways you can try it in your own home.
