Aegean Mojito

I can’t help but name this drink after the beautiful Aegean sea. It’s my favorite place to relax in the summer and I think most people understand why. The water is so beautiful and warm, the sun feels so good, and an Aegean Mojito is the perfect, refreshing thing to sip while you take it all in.

Obviously, I’m mixing this cocktail in my kitchen in Connecticut, not in a seaside kitchen by the Aegean. However, I think we can still capture the same mood if we close our eyes and envision the beach, or at least sit by the pool!

I like to make this more in the warmer months. It goes so nicely with a platter of grilled calamari or a grilled branzino for dinner. I also like to serve it with some easy nibbles before dinner, like a great dip with pita and vegetables.

When it comes to summer cocktail hour look no further, this one is going to be popular with everyone you know. Cheers!

This gorgeous drink is the spirit of summer! I love serving it when we have friends by the pool, or when we are with our family in Greece.
