I’ve written about many different burger recipes on this website because there are so many good ways to make them. Today I’m sharing the Avocado Bacon Ranch Burger recipe because it’s wrapped in lettuce and is a great burger when you want a lot of flavor, with a healthier twist. The lettuce wrap can serve two purposes, first is a reduction in calories, and the second is that it’s gluten-free. Sometimes I like to skip the bun on my burger because it’s too filling, and the lettuce adds a lot of good texture.

To flavor this burger up I use many layers of ingredients. First, I mix onion powder into the patty along with salt and pepper and it tastes amazing. Then, I add crispy bacon, avocado, and ranch dressing. It’s one flavor after another and they come together perfectly in each bite.
If you have someone at your table who would like a bun, I recommend using a soft sesame bun or a brioche bun if you can. However, as the recipe states, when I make this, I add one more layer of flavor by wrapping everything in a lettuce wrap. I like that it keeps the focus on the flavor of the patty and the toppings, not the breading.

These Avocado Bacon Ranch Burgers fun and easy twist for burgers on the grill this summer. If you are looking for more ideas, I encourage you to search on my website using the search function. I also have great recipes for homemade fries and summer salads you can serve alongside for a really easy and fun summer meal!
