Buffalo Chicken Bread Kone

This amazing Buffalo Chicken Bread Kone is the perfect twist on a game day favorite. Buffalo chicken is spicy chicken typically served with a side of blue cheese to counteract the heat. For this bread kone I keep the recipe super simple and use piping hot pre-cooked chicken strips. If you want to make your chicken from scratch you can, but using pre-cooked saves a lot of time.

Then, I toss the chicken with the buffalo sauce for heat and add it to the bread kone. I love using the kone for this because it keeps the sandwich much neater

Buffalo chicken can honestly be pretty drippy and messy and having it all in the kone is much easier. I drizzle the blue cheese dressing over the kone, but you could dip the kone in the dressing if you’d prefer.

For game day, serve these on a big platter and let everyone dive in. I guarantee they’ll be a huge hit with fans both large and small. Enjoy!!

Buffalo Chicken Bread Kone

This is a great recipe for game day. The bread kone makes this whole sandwich less messy. I also make sure there is extra blue cheese dressing available for dipping!

Makes 1 bread kone

  • 1 ready-made bread cone (pre-baked)

  • 1 cup cooked chicken tenders, chopped into bite-sized pieces

  • 1/2 cup buffalo hot sauce

  • Creamy blue cheese dressing (for drizzling)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Chopped green onions or celery (optional, for garnish)


1. In a mixing bowl, toss the chopped chicken tenders with buffalo hot sauce until they are well coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

2. Spoon the buffalo chicken mixture into the ready-made bread cone.

3. Drizzle creamy blue cheese dressing on top of the buffalo chicken filling

4. Garnish the top with chopped green onions or celery for added flavor and texture. Serve the buffalo chicken stuffed bread cone immediately while it's still warm.
