Holiday Peanut Butter Cookies

A Christmas cookie classic. When making your favorite peanut butter cookie use red or green sugar to roll them for an extra holiday twist! 🎄

HOLIDAY PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

Ingredients

3/4 cup butter butter

1 egg

1 3/4 cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 cup light brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup unsalted butter

Hershey Kisses

Red sanding sugar for rolling

1. Combine sugars, butter and peanut butter with a hand mixer.

2. Add egg and vanilla and mix until creamy.

3. In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients.

4. Add your dry ingredients slowly to the peanut butter mixture.

5. Chill mixture for 40 minutes.

6. Roll into balls and roll in red sugar.

7. Bake at 375 degrees for 9 minutes.

8. Add Hersey kisses in the center on hot cookies and let cool.
