Boozy Cherry Bombs are a really fun treat for Valentine's Day, or anytime you want to spruce up a cocktail. We love making these for parties and I make them without alcohol for the kids. When I'm preparing for a party I soak the cherries in a giant jar for a few days. This makes it easier for me because I can just finish them off the day off, plus the generous soaking time makes them extra flavorful.

The day of the party I finish them off by dipping them in the chocolate and freezing them until solid. Then, they are ready for the cocktail!

You can put these Boozy Cherry Bombs in almost any cocktail, or place them on a plate for people to nibble on. Make sure they don't have too many because they can definitely sneak up on you! They'll look festive in fun in any glass and will put a smile on the faces of your guests. Cheers!

Boozy Cherry Bombs with White Chocolate & Sprinkles
These are super fun for Valentine’s Day. I like to serve them to my friends when they come over in February.
Ingredients
Cherries
1 jar (16–20 oz) maraschino cherries with stems (or fresh pitted cherries)
¾–1 cup alcohol (vodka, bourbon, cherry liqueur, etc.)
¼ cup cherry juice or cranberry juice
2–3 tbsp sugar (optional)
Chocolate Coating
6 oz white chocolate, chopped or chips
Sprinkles, crushed nuts, or coconut for decorating
Instructions
1. Soak the Cherries
Drain cherries and place in a jar or airtight container.
Mix alcohol, cherry juice, and sugar.
Pour over cherries until fully submerged.
Seal and refrigerate at least 24 hours, ideally 48–72 hours for max booziness.
2. Prepare Chocolate
Melt white chocolate in a double boiler or microwave (20–30 sec intervals, stirring between).
Let it cool slightly so it’s thick but still dippable.
3. Dip & Decorate
Remove cherries from alcohol (pat lightly dry).
Hold by the stem and dip in melted white chocolate.
Immediately sprinkle with your choice of sprinkles, crushed nuts, or coconut.
Place on parchment-lined tray to set.
4. Chill & Serve
Refrigerate until chocolate hardens, about 30–45 minutes.
Serve chilled for a boozy, sweet, crunchy treat.
