CARAMEL CHOCOLATE EGGNOG MARTINI

The holidays call for Caramel Chocolate Eggnog Martinis! The entertainer in me can’t resist having a special beverage ready for guests when they come to my house to celebrate. Eggnog is a fun drink for the season, but it is a little heavy, which is why I mix it with other flavors to make it into a zippy holiday sipper. This is the kind of drink you enjoy for dessert or when you are munching on appetizers. It is strong so I don’t suggest enjoying more than one or two!

To begin the cocktail, I start off with store bought eggnog. This is not the time to make eggnog from scratch since it is going to be cut and mixed with other liquors. I like to rim the cocktail glass with caramel sauce and add kahlua to the beverage in order to get both the caramel and chocolate flavors into each sip.

Then I serve it up individually in a large martini glass. It is really fun and festive to enjoy while you chat with friends.

I hope you have fun adding this to your holiday bar. It’s one of our favorites to celebrate the season!
