The Perfect Homemade Grazing Box for Mother's Day

It’s almost time for Mother’s Day! Since this is more of a for-fun holiday in our household this year I thought I’d share something I like to do for my friends to mark the occasions. This year I’m giving them each homemade snack boxes with charcuterie, cheese, crackers, dark chocolate-dipped dried fruit, and a split of prosecco. It is a super cute way to show them that I am grateful for all of their support and celebrate their lives as mothers!

This episode is also very special to me because my mom, Zoi, is able to join me. This is her first time in front of the camera with me and I really hope she returns again soon. My mother and I are very close and she taught me a lot of what I know in the kitchen. She and my father raised me and my siblings with such love and I still get to spend a lot of time with her today. In fact, she has really helped me with my own children while I’ve built my events and restaurant business. I couldn’t do it without her support!

I chose to use some popular meats and cheeses in this box, along with my favorite crackers from the store. I also picked up some dried fruit and dipped it in dark chocolate as the sweet component. These boxes are really easy to assemble and you can amend them to include whatever treat you think your friends would like. The idea is that they can chill the prosecco and have a yummy snack on Mother’s Day - it’s always such a nice break when you don’t have to cook!

I love making treats for my friends no matter the occasion, and I’m sure a lot of you do too. I hope these instructions show you just how easy it is to make a gourmet snack box mom will love. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and mother figures far and wide!
