Pull Apart Garlic Rolls

This recipe is for pure comfort food. I adore garlic bread and these Pull Apart Garlic Knots are truly next level. They feature all the delicious flavor of garlic bread and are topped with melted cheese and baked in muffin tins so they become garlick-y cheese-y pull apart dreams. I can’t tell you how delicious they are when paired with a big bowl of spaghetti and meatballs or a nice slice of lasagna. Sometimes my children simply like to dip them in warm marinara!

I start these garlic knots with bread dough from the refrigerator aisle. This is truly the best way for them to start because it makes them so easy to pull together in a jiffy. Then I cut the dough into small pieces and add them all to a large bowl to mix all the flavors together. I’ll admit, I really like garlic so I am generous with the garlic powder and minced fresh garlic. I don’t think you can go wrong when adding a little extra to the mix if you like.

Use clean hands to mix all the flavors together and then fill the muffin tins evenly and pop it all in the oven. They don’t take too long to bake and you want to serve them piping hot so make sure you have the rest of the meal mostly prepared by the time they come out of the oven. I think they taste the best when they’re pulled apart and the cheese is still all soft and stringy.

I like to serve these individually on bread plates right next to our main meals. Everyone seems to be dipping them into the sauces with the pasta once the meal is underway. Yes, our hands getting buttery and messy, but who cares?! Once you get used to this new way of serving garlic bread you’re going to absolutely love it. Enjoy!
