Whipped Feta with Honey Dip

I adore this dip recipe because it really highlights some of the classic flavors of the Mediterranean. Whipped Feta with Honey and Pistachio can be almost entirely with local ingredients if you’re in the right place! Like most of our favorite dishes, this features feta prominently and I also reach for the local honey when I can find it. Even better if you have some local pistachios on hand! .

Since this doesn’t take long to make, I recommend having all the ingredients ready and measured before you begin. This way you can pull it together quickly when you need it and serve it fresh. Sometimes I find that not everyone makes it to this dip when I have a lot of people over. Therefore, I’ll divide it up amongst smaller bowls and surround each with fresh grilled pita wedges and place them at different places in my house. This way there are multiple dip stations and everyone has a better chance to getting some.

There have been times when I’ve used this is a spread on grilled bread and topped it with prosciutto for a quick snack. Or, made a whole batch for a party and saved a little bit for my family and I to enjoy the next day. We love it so much and there’s never any left when I make it!

There are a lot of great Greek dip recipes I’ve shared in the past couple of years. I hope you search “dip” on my website to find more. A lot of them include a tangy feta base with a few sweet top notes. They are all so good and taste perfect when serve with grilled pita bread wedges. This dip will be a great addition to your next party. I promise, everyone will want the recipe and you can just point them here! Enjoy!

Whipped Feta with Honey Dip

This delicious dip is bound to be a huge hit at your next party. I like to make it and divide it between a few smaller bowls and place them around the party, that way everyone gets to try some!

4 oz Feta Cheese

4 oz Cream Cheese

1 tbsp olive oil

½ tsp Garlic minced

½ tsp fresh basil

¼ cup honey

1 tbsp pistachios (chopped)

1 tsp chives (chopped)

½ tsp Cracked Black Pepper

Pita bread – grilled

  1. In a food processor, whip together feta, cream cheese, garlic, olive oil, pepper and fresh basil.

  1. Scoop the dip onto a plate, or divide it amongst a few plates if you’re having a party. Serve it with warm grilled pita.
