This Citrus and Avocado Salad is a beautiful and bright salad for any time of the year. I love making it in the summer when everything is so super fresh and flavorful. If you can find citrus in the winter that is bright and juicy, this salad will work will then, too.
I love this salad because it can be served at almost any occasion, from the fanciest parties to the most casual meals. It does not take long to assemble and it tastes even better than it looks, which is somewhat hard to believe since it’s one the prettiest things you’ve ever seen.

I recommend making this right before you want to serve it so it stays fresh and juicy with little time for the dressing to absorb too much into the fruit. You want all the flavors to stay light and layered!

Citrus Avocado Salad
This is the most delicious salad for any time of year. I love that it’s lettuce-less yet full of flavor.
Ingredients
2 ripe avocados (diced)
2 oranges (peeled and segmented)
1 grapefruit (peeled and segmented)
½ cup pomegranate seeds
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp honey
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the fruits: In a large bowl, combine diced avocados, orange segments, grapefruit segments, and pomegranate seeds.
Make the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
Toss and serve: Drizzle the dressing over the fruit and toss gently.
Garnish and serve: Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving. This vibrant salad is the perfect balance of creamy, tangy, and sweet—a great side dish or snack!
