Sriracha Honey Wings with Pineapple Salsa

I think it’s important to always have a few great hot snack food recipes in your back pocket. Meaning, the recipes you’d serve a crowd at a football party or a kid’s sporting event. The ones that are hearty enough to serve as a light meal and are always crowd-pleasing with lots of flavor. Sriracha Honey Wings are definitely this sort of recipe. I love making a huge platter to serve to friends and can honestly say there are never any leftovers. They are a nice twist on traditional wing recipes and work well alongside all sorts of other heavy snacks like nachos and jalapeno poppers.

People often get intimidated by making wings, but I promise this method isn’t hard at all. I start by making a simple glaze and making sure the wings are completely covered. Then, I slip the wings in the oven and bake them to perfection. While they are cooking, I make the pineapple salsa with just a few ingredients and everything can be served when the wings come out of the oven.

The one thing to remember about wings is that they can be a little sloppy to eat. Since you’re eating with your hands and dipping them in salsa, I highly recommend having a stack of napkins ready for everyone. Also, be sure to have some cold beers and other refreshments because the spicy sauce needs to be washed down with something nice and cool.

This delicious and easy recipe will be your new go-to when it comes to making wings at home. You’ll love how easy it is and how popular it proves to be with everyone you invite over. Add this to your table for the Big Game and watch them disappear in seconds. This will definitely become one you turn to again and again, and don’t be at all surprised when people ask you for the recipe!

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 cup chopped pineapple

  4. Pour the sriracha sauce over the wings and make sure they are completely covered with the glaze. Bake the wings for about 45 minutes, or until golden brown and sticky.

  5. While the wings are baking, combine pineapple, red onion, cilantro, and lime juice to taste in a bowl to make the pineapple salsa.

  6. When the wings come out of the oven, serve them with the pineapple salsa for dipping.
